Fantastic by a set of very talented committed enthusiasts. Congratulations. Young people deserve positive reporting to offset the negative that is all too common. This kind of charitable work that young people undertake is admirable.

Hi there Wired
Just wondering how you were getting on. The last thing I can see is from July 15th so just wanted you to know we were still out here thinking of you and keeping our knees crossed for your success

Hi Andy,

I know exactly how you feel mate!!! When the initial buzz wears off and the whole things starts feeling like work instead of play, the best thing to do is take a break for a day or two and then mix things up!! It was a struggle for me over the passed few weeks just to get motivated to get out the door, as most of my training is done alone. And you know as well as I do that can make things alot more boring!! The problem I have is that because i work nights, the guys I normally ride with are at work when I am training. I stayed off the unicycle for a week completely and just did fun mountain bike blasts, then came back to the unicycle refreshed and ready to go. Mix things up mate and focus on the end result. If it seems like work, take a break.

Take it easy mate, talk soon.

yo dude! howz it all going? Sounds like ur doing a gud job but as you say uve lost some motivation. The best thing I can advise is to change ur outine around a bit to put the fun back in what your doing and of course to set targets. Give me a ring some time and we can talk through things, also u need to call me bout the stag doo u big silly! right gtg but thought id let u think about this:

I wouldn't recommend doing your 100 mile ride too close to the C2C ride. That would take me 11 or 12 hours, not counting rest stops, and I can't imagine I'd want to do any exercise at all for a few days afterwards. Not to mention the risk of injury putting you out of action completely. It's a bigger challenge than the C2C ride, so do it afterwards.
